Here at Kybotech, we’re always on the lookout for new talent – for people and personalities that gel with our company ideals and are hungry for success. So to understand what life at Kybotech is like, we think there’s no better way than to talk to some of the real people who work there.

Check out their answers below to see if Kybotech is the right fit for you!

Hi Edison, so tell us which brand do you work on?

I mainly work on BillyOh.

And what’s your role at Kybotech?

So I’m a Solidworks technical associate.

What department do you work in?

I’m part of new product development (NPD).

Edison’s Role

Can you briefly explain what your role involves?

Sure, so a lot of 3D modelling and coming up with 2D drawings as well as weighting and costing for new products. I also cover instruction manual images and other documentation.

Cool, and how long have you worked at Kybotech?

For 2 years and 11 months now!

How big is your team/immediate department?

It sort of varies – but enough to get the job done!

What gets you out of bed and to work in the morning?

Apart from work – my family 😊.

How have you found working remotely during the past 1-2 years?

Er, actually working for the past 2yrs remotely has been quite hard. The pandemic has changed my lifestyle a lot – but, we move forwards!

And what’s one proud moment you’ve had whilst working here?

Definitely when my first building project was launched.

How have you seen the company change/grow since you’ve been working here?

Just more of the same – more people hired who add to the friendly and positive nature of the whole company.

What useful skills have you learned whilst working here?

I’d say a soft skill like a knack for quick analysis is probably the most useful.

So why did you decide to apply to Kybotech?

Well, my experience as a designer/engineer using Solidworks was just a good fit at the time to what Kybotech’s needs were.

What’s the best thing about working at Kybotech? Is the company working on improving anything that doesn’t work so well?

The company never stops trying to make improvements – that’s a really good thing and important for having a good future.
