Programmer

JOB TITLE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

BASIC HOURS:

8.00 am to 5pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm (45 minute lunch as allowed, 41.25 hours per week)

This role is responsible for developing software applications in a dynamic and growing CRM, CMS application product development for internal and external customers. The applications are written utilising the .NET framework, Microsoft Visual Studio and C#, ASP.NET for web development, and SQL Server 2005 for database development.

Transalting specifications and ideas into C# windows programs and ASP.NET web applications, testing results to ensure accurate logic, operation and output. Incumbents apply fundamental mathematical knowledge and logic, as well as knowledge of MS .NET platform to solve programming problems. Program releases are regularly performed and the programmer must be confident that all requirements of the specification are met. Progress and results are checked by a supervisor.

• Writes, Corrects and makes modifications to computer programs.
• Tests accuracy of newly written or modified computer programs.
• Debug new and existing application.
• Continous research and development into new technologies and development techniques to ensure systems architecture is efficient and up to date.
• Receives training to increase knowledge of computer software / hardware.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to imporve operations, decrease turnaround time, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

• Experience with C#, Winforms & ASP.NET
• Experience of SQL using SQL Server 2000 / 2005
• Knowledge of XML
